An accident on Thursday left five people injured, including a pregnant woman, when a passenger transport truck traveling the La Habana-Santiago de Cuba route lost control and overturned following a tire explosion.

The incident occurred on the Carretera Central, near Guáimaro in Camagüey. Approximately 30 passengers were on board the truck at the time, according to a report from local television.

Five individuals, four women and one man, were transported to the Armando Enrique Cardoso Hospital with injuries. A doctor from the Emergency Service confirmed that none of the injuries are life-threatening.
