Tekashi 6ix9ine and Lenier Pay Tribute to El Boris in "El Preso" Following Wife's Infidelity

Monday, September 23, 2024 by Bella Nunez

Tekashi 6ix9ine and Lenier Mesa seem to have discovered the secret to success together, as they release yet another collaboration. Their new song, titled "El Preso," is dedicated to Cuban producer Boris Arencibia, who has been under federal arrest since the beginning of the year.

The two artists, who are friends of the Cuban producer, launched this track just days after images surfaced revealing the infidelity of the producer's wife with a Cuban baseball player. The pictures, shared by Un Martí To Durako, show Lisandra alongside Vladimir Gutiérrez, who was previously involved with her friend, La China Matadora.

Betrayal and Heartbreak

The lyrics of "El Preso" reflect the heartbreak experienced by the Cuban producer. The music video intersperses scenes of the couple's happier times with shots of the two artists dressed as prisoners in a cell. Additionally, there are scenes featuring Tekashi 6ix9ine with Boris. Some notable lines from the song include, "Betrayal hurts more than the judge's sentence," "I saw you as my forever, now I see you being unfaithful," "The one who kissed me yesterday now breaks my bones," "A prisoner has no friends, he's a living dead," and "A prisoner doesn't betray, he's accused and deceived. When a prisoner falls on hard times, he's abandoned."

Audio Message from Boris

The song also features an audio message from Boris himself. In it, he reminisces, "I remember as a child dreaming of creating a family with God, seeing you shine on our wedding day, and promising eternal love before God, to be there in good times and bad. With your golden crown always shining, and me bearing the crown of thorns to never see your face nor suffer nor cry. I'd rather let time speak."

It's worth noting that after the images of Lisandra with Vladimir Gutiérrez were released, La China Matadora was seen partying with Tekashi 6ix9ine and Lenier Mesa in Miami.
