Cubans Conquer Heights While Cleaning Miami Skyscraper Windows

Tuesday, September 24, 2024 by Samantha Mendoza

The Cuban twins, Ignacio and Manuel Díaz, continue to make a name for themselves in Miami's "vertical jobs" sector, showcasing their daring work on social media.

Overcoming their fear of heights, the brothers scale Miami's tallest towers not only to clean windows but also to perform various other exterior tasks on the city's glass-covered skyscrapers.

In one of their latest TikTok videos, the Díaz twins demonstrated the safety measures they employ in their perilous work. They explained how the equipment functions and shared their pre-suspension routines, ensuring everything is secure before hanging in mid-air.

Those with acrophobia (an intense fear of heights) might want to avoid watching the Díaz brothers' videos, which are as stunning as they are heart-stopping.

A Job with a View

The twins' "office" offers the best views of Miami, but it requires extensive training and a cool head to handle such a position.

As the brothers emphasize in their posts, their work stands as proof that many young Cuban immigrants are willing to work hard, even if it means facing the natural fear of being suspended dozens of meters above the ground, held only by ropes and harnesses, all while maintaining their sense of humor.
