Kurly went on to describe the features of her home: "It's a small apartment but has two bedrooms, a bathroom, a living-dining room, a kitchen, and a basement the same size as the apartment."

Additional Costs Detailed

She further broke down her additional expenses, including $50 for water, $20 for trash, and $35 for her pet. In total, Kurly estimated her monthly rent, including utilities and internet, to be $1,195.

At the end of the video, she encouraged her followers to share their own rent costs: "Tell me where you live, tell me how much you pay because we're all nosy here."

Widespread Reactions and Comparisons

The video has sparked significant discussion on the platform, with many users expressing surprise at how low her rent is compared to other parts of the country. Comments poured in: "In Miami, I better not even tell you"; "Oh my God, tell me where it is, I also live in Louisville, I want a rent like that"; "I pay $1,500 for a new three-bedroom, two-bath apartment"; "Super cheap, I pay $2,035 for a room in Miami"; "In Orlando, it's $2,000 for a two-bedroom, two-bath apartment."

Others shared their experiences with living costs in different states: "In Alabama, it's super cheap, I pay $700 for three bedrooms and two baths," one user noted; "Here, better not tell you, rent alone is $1,700, the rest, uff, I'm going to have to move there," added another from Massachusetts.

Continued Debate on Rent Prices

"I need to move to Kentucky"; "What is that condo, tell me, I live here in Louisville, and everything is over $1,200"; "Here in Louisville, there are condos with $700 apartments, but six or seven nationalities live there, and it's crazy"; "In Miami, that apartment would be around $2,000, not counting electricity and other services"; "In New York, Miami, and California, it's super expensive"; "I pay $1,700 for a one-bedroom in Massachusetts, it's incredible what you pay"; "Here in Los Angeles, it's not less than $2,000 for a room"; "I pay $1,200 for a room and have to pay for electricity separately," others joined the conversation.

The ongoing debate about rent prices continues to be one of the most discussed topics on TikTok, where users often share their personal experiences from various parts of the country. Comparisons between cities and states never fail to amaze those who, like Kurly, live in areas where prices are relatively lower.
