Flor Danay Hernández Ochoa, better known as Flor de Cuba, is a Cuban influencer boasting 570,000 followers on Instagram. Born on September 17, 1993, in Holguín, she owns the artistic academy Deflores. This private business, as she has highlighted on her social media, trains and educates content creators and influencers. Deflores offers classes in modeling, makeup, acting, and dance to children, teens, and adults. With a monthly graduation rate of 150 students, over 5,000 individuals have attended her academy in the past six years. Soon, Deflores plans to open a second location in Holguín, with the ultimate dream of establishing a presence in every Cuban province to leverage local artistic talent and the natural beauty of the country for video productions.

Expanding Her Influence and Passion

As a content creator, Flor de Cuba uses her platforms to promote brands and events. Additionally, for the past two years, she has been exploring her true passion: music. She has collaborated with artists such as Los 4 de Cuba on the track "Hijos de dios," with Harryson on “Vamo' a ver que pasa,” and with Payaso x Ley on "Malas intenciones," among others.

A Journey of Overcoming Addiction

Flor has candidly shared her struggles with drug addiction on social media, aiming to raise awareness and provide support. She emphasizes the importance of physical and mental health, self-care, and self-esteem. By openly discussing her personal experiences, she offers guidance and visibility to those grappling with addiction or their loved ones. After numerous relapses and severe health issues, she successfully rehabilitated at the renowned Cuban clinic, El Quinque, where football legend Diego Armando Maradona also received treatment. She spent three months there, which she credits with saving her life. Over a year since her recovery, she remains forthcoming about her journey and how she managed to survive.

International Recognition and Family Life

Flor de Cuba claims to be one of the most followed influencers in the Dominican Republic. She worked on an audiovisual project about the well-known Chicharrones neighborhood in Santiago de Cuba with Capricornio TV, a YouTube presenter who gives voice to the community. Hernández sees herself as a symbol and example that overcoming drug addiction is possible.

She is a mother of two, with her youngest child fathered by her former partner, Michel Aguilera, also known as Michel Boutic, a producer of reparto music under the Dboutic Music label. In September 2024, she arrived in Miami on a five-year tourist visa with her new partner, Alexx 13K, with whom she recorded the music video "Amor Bonito." Upon her arrival, she signed several collaboration contracts with sponsors who work with prominent figures in the Cuban community.
