Lali Paola Moliner, a three-year-old Cuban girl, has been missing since February, and her family continues to hold on to hope despite the police's inefficacy in the search. A recent social media post reminded the public that the girl has been missing since February 26, 2024, and posed the question: “Who is looking for her?”
The little girl, a resident of Bahía neighborhood in East Havana, was last seen with her mother, Teresa Moliner Bosa, 24, when they left their home together. The following day, Teresa was found dead near the Cojímar coast with signs of violence, but there was no trace of the child.
The case has stirred concern among Cubans, particularly within social media groups of Cuban mothers who have closely followed the family's desperate search for clues to find the young girl. From the outset, the family has expressed worry about the girl's health, as she suffers from severe allergies and asthma attacks.
Community's Efforts and Lack of Official Response
The family has provided the following phone numbers for anyone with information on the girl's whereabouts: 58385107, 53161904, 59040389, and 51976232. Despite the passage of months since the tragic event, neither the authorities nor the state-controlled media have publicly addressed the disappearance of Lali Paola or the death of her mother. These incidents add to the growing wave of public insecurity plaguing the country.
