Flor de Cuba Addresses Connection with Sandro Castro After Arriving in Miami

After arriving in Miami, Cuban influencer Flor de Cuba has faced significant criticism due to a photo she once took with Sandro Castro, the grandson of Fidel Castro. The image has resurfaced frequently, leading to various speculations.

Among those questioning Flor de Cuba's relationship with Sandro Castro is Alexander Otaola. In her first Miami interview on the podcast “Destino Tolk,” with which she recently signed a contract, Flor de Cuba sought to clarify the situation.

Clarifying the Photo Controversy

“That photo was taken because Sandro hired my agency for a fashion show. We held the event for one day, took the photo for promotional purposes, and that was it. That’s the only connection I’ve ever had with Sandro in my entire life,” stated Flor de Cuba.

She elaborated, “The day I met him, we interacted professionally. He was extremely kind and well-mannered, and that’s all there is to it. Those who truly have something to hide don’t post photos.” She also mentioned that Otaola had falsely claimed that Sandro Castro is the father of her youngest child.

Responding to Exile Community Accusations

When asked about the exile community labeling her as a collaborator with the dictatorship, Flor de Cuba responded, “I’ve never seen anyone working for the State live like I do. In fact, it’s usually those suffering the most who are the most loyal to any political system. I have no ties. The exile community always says the same thing. People can’t fathom that I managed to do something different in the same place and under the same conditions.”

Despite her clarifications, Otaola maintains his suspicions, claiming that while he lacks concrete evidence, he believes Flor de Cuba is a front for Sandro Castro.
