A young Cuban named Dayan Sotolongo, who suffers from stage four lymphedema in both legs, is pleading for assistance to travel to Spain for surgery. Dayan reached out to activist Diasniurka Salcedo Verdecia to help expedite his case. He needs $2,000 more to complete his paperwork and leave Cuba; he has already secured the rest of the funds.

According to Dayan, he must gather the remaining money for his hospital admission in Spain. "Thanks to those who have been helping me from the start, I was able to gradually arrange my parents' travel, and with the help of a doctor and a friend who contacted me, I managed to gather almost all the money for my surgery," he explained.

Dayan shared his phone number, +5350781272, for anyone who wishes to verify his situation and provided bank card details for those willing to donate. "I can no longer walk," he emphasized.

"I am in serious condition and urgently need surgery. My paperwork extension expires on October 17, and if I can't go for the operation, I might end up permanently disabled," he stressed.
