Starting Wednesday, September 24, the Spanish Embassy in Cuba has introduced new fees for its consular services, including adjustments in prices and payment requirements for procedures conducted on the island. These updated fees have been in effect since that date, and payments must be made exclusively in euros and in cash, with the exact amount for the requested service.

The new fees are as follows:

Passports: €30
Schengen Visas for Adults: €90
Schengen Visas for Children Aged 6 to 12: €50
Legalizations: €10
Certifications: €10
Notarial Instrument: €50 (plus €10 for each additional page, with an average of 2 to 4 pages per procedure)

The consulate emphasizes that applicants must bring the exact amount because no change will be provided, and payments in larger sums will not be accepted.

Delays in Democratic Memory Law Credentials

Regarding the Democratic Memory Law, the embassy acknowledged delays in the issuance of credentials, with some waiting periods exceeding nine months. Consequently, a review of users and credentials will begin on October 1.
