Nelson Gudín Unveils His New Cuban Restaurant in Hialeah

Wednesday, October 2, 2024 by Robert Castillo

Nelson Gudín, the well-known actor, writer, and comedian also known as El Bacán de la Vida, has announced the upcoming opening of his own Cuban restaurant in Hialeah. "It's a restaurant with traditional, homemade Cuban food. I named it 'El Callejón del Tarro' to have some fun with people; for them to come, enjoy, and have a good time," El Bacán shared with his followers on social media.

El Bacán’s concept extends beyond just Cuban cuisine; he also envisions it as a space to promote humor. He invited fans of Cuban food to visit his new establishment, located at 564 Hialeah Dr, in the city known as "The City of Progress." The grand opening is scheduled for this Saturday, October 12.

A Dream Come True

The Cuban humorist recently fulfilled the dream of purchasing his home in Miami in June, and now he is achieving another milestone by opening his restaurant. The venue will also offer a stage for Gudín to perform and host his guests.

Gudín expressed his joy over these accomplishments and shared his happiness with his fans. He even recited a friend’s verses dedicated to his soon-to-open culinary venture in Hialeah:

"If you've suffered a heartbreak, a betrayal, or any pain; at El Callejón del Tarro, they heal you with food. El Bacán de la Vida, the owner of this spot, says a heartbreak is no good, it's something that frightens, but the best way to endure it is with a full belly."
