Cuban Classic "Los pájaros tirándole a la escopeta" Takes the Stage in Miami

The iconic Cuban film "Los pájaros tirándole a la escopeta" from 1984 is set to captivate audiences once more, this time as a theatrical production debuting at Miami's Trail Theater in December. This adaptation of one of Cuba's most beloved comedies features the return of two original cast members, Beatriz Valdés and Alberto Pujol. In an intriguing twist, they transition from playing the young couple to portraying their parents, roles originally performed by Reinaldo Miravalles and Consuelo Vidal in the film.

"Such great joy! Los pájaros tirándole a la escopeta is coming to the Trail Theater this December," announced OMG Studios Miami on Instagram, stirring excitement among fans. Joining Beatriz and Albertico are Susana Pérez and Carlos Cruz, along with the talented Jennyfer Rodríguez, Jeffry Batista, and Yusnel Suárez, who also directs this outstanding story originally penned by the brilliant Rolando Díaz.

For Beatriz Valdés, returning to the project that significantly boosted her popularity in Cuba is an unparalleled honor. "What a wonder. What a privilege. We are in for an amazing adventure," she enthused.

Young Talent Joins a Celebrated Cast

Meanwhile, for the young actor Jeffry Batista, participating in this remarkable endeavor is nothing short of thrilling. "It's a significant part of Cuban culture, alongside great stars I admire and respect. All that's left for me is to enjoy the process and urge everyone to get their tickets and not miss out," Jeffry Batista expressed with enthusiasm.

Other Cuban artists, including Yuliet Cruz, Mónico Pino, and Albita Rodríguez, have also welcomed the new theatrical production, further highlighting the excitement and cultural significance of this adaptation.
