In light of the critical health condition of El Taiger, a number of Cuban artists have decided to postpone events and new releases. El Taiger is currently in a critical situation after being shot in Miami.

In a show of solidarity, Wow Popy announced the delay of his album "El Hijo de Elizabeth." He stated, “We find it necessary to postpone the release of my album... due to the delicate situation our friend and colleague, José Manuel Carvajal, is facing,” via Instagram. He added, "When my tiger opens his eyes, we'll talk about music; even if you can't see me, feel me, because I'm right here with many who love you and want you back."

Meanwhile, Wampi, who had a performance scheduled at La Tropical this Friday, November 4, also canceled his show. "First of all, I want to apologize to all my fans and everyone involved in this event, the team at La Tropical, and anyone affected by the cancellation," he shared on Instagram, explaining his and his team's choice to "cancel the event... due to everything that's happening with El Taiger."

El Yonki also announced that the release of his song "Voy 100 A Mí" would be postponed because of his colleague's condition. The artist's manager and partner, Ani Dieppa, known as La Super Friky on digital platforms, shared, "The release is suspended... due to the situation José (El Taiger) is facing."

El Taiger was admitted to Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami on Thursday after suffering a gunshot wound to the head. The news has deeply affected the Cuban artistic community, which has expressed its support and concern. Musicians like Jacob Forever, El Micha, Alexander Delgado, Randy Malcom, Oniel Bebeshito, El Bony, Dany Ome, Mawell, L Kimii, Yomil, El Charly, and Willy Chirino have joined in prayers, solidarity, and messages of strength.

The incident has shaken both his peers and fans, who are anxiously awaiting updates on his recovery. El Taiger, a pivotal figure in Cuban urban music, continues to fight for his life as the outpouring of concern and support escalates with each new development.
