Doctors have moved him to a more secure room, and his quarters are under police surveillance, to whom we are deeply thankful for their support," reads one of the stories on that social media platform.
"Tonight at 8:00 p.m., we will hold a prayer chain with a white candle. Thank you all for your prayers. We have faith that he will recover soon," the message continues.
The Cuban reggaeton artist underwent emergency surgery after sustaining a gunshot wound to the forehead, which exited through the right side of his brain. Sources close to the singer have reported that he has severe brain injuries and is currently on life support.
