In Miami this past Friday, friends and associates of El Taiger urged the community to join a prayer vigil for the Cuban reggaeton artist's healing. Numerous social media accounts are circulating this appeal: "Anyone wishing to participate in prayer tonight at 8:00 p.m. is invited to gather at this location with a white candle to pray for El Taiger's recovery."
The gathering will take place at the intersection of NW 17 ST and NW 9 AV, close to where the singer was found last Thursday in the backseat of a car, suffering from a gunshot wound to the head. This initiative was spearheaded by the artist's own team, who provided an update on his current medical condition.
"José remains in critical condition. Doctors have moved him to a more secure unit, and his room is under police surveillance," the team confirmed via El Taiger's Instagram account. The reggaeton star is on life support at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, while authorities continue to investigate the incident, which remains shrouded in mystery.
