Rey El Mago recently addressed the public to clarify why La Diosa has remained silent regarding the shooting of reggaeton artist José Manuel Carvajal, known as El Taiger. He also explained their stance on the unfortunate event. Reinier Miguelez, the real name of the music producer, emphasized that they have been closely monitoring the situation from the beginning, as they share a team member who works with both El Taiger and La Diosa.
"Believe me, from the very first moment this unfortunate event occurred, we have been in direct contact with his team and those closest to him, expressing our concern for his condition," he stated.
Rey El Mago elaborated, "Beyond posting on social media, which I think is good for encouragement, our main weapon is to pray, to ask God for help, which I know many are doing. Our hope is that he can first overcome this critical situation, and then we can see how he recovers."
Empathy Over Closeness
Rey El Mago admitted that neither he nor La Diosa are particularly close to El Taiger, but emphasized the importance of empathy during such critical times. "It's true that we weren't close to El Taiger, but there's something called human empathy that surpasses any trivial social media issues. He's had worse adversaries who are now showing their support," he pointed out.
"Our support is definitely there. La Diosa lights a candle for him, with her prayers and spiritual rituals. I'm not very religious, but I express my empathy too. Praying is the strongest weapon because only God can guide us. If we all pray, I know God will lend a hand," he added.
He concluded with, "So, let's hope for a long life for a legend in our movement, for José, as those closest to him call him. I feel deeply for his family and daughters in Cuba. Prayer, with God's will, is the only thing that can heal and remove all evil."
