Cuban dancer and choreographer Michel Valdés, known as Micho, recently honored El Taiger at his dance academy. El Taiger is currently in critical condition at Miami's Jackson Memorial Hospital after being shot on Thursday.

In a video posted on his TikTok account, Micho asked his students to dance with passion to El Taiger's music. "Remember, we might be reckless, undisciplined, and many other things in life, but above all, we are human beings," he stated. "Today, one of our own, a brother and genre colleague, El Taiger, is fighting for his life in the hospital," he added.

Micho chose El Taiger's song "El relajo con orden para que parezca guaracha" for the students of his academy, Baila con Micho, which includes both children and teenagers, to pay tribute to his friend.

Looking directly into the camera, Micho addressed the reggaeton artist with determination: "I know you're coming back to us, you can't leave us like this. If you go, the genre ends. You might be reckless, whatever you want, but to me, you're the number one artist in the genre," he affirmed.

On his Instagram account, Micho shared a photo of the two enjoying happier times. "Taiger, José, bro, cut the crap, my brother. We're waiting for you. There's still so much left to achieve. All the world's blessings to you, and my prayers are with you, my bro," he wrote.
