Jany Mesa, the former partner of El Taiger, shared emotional messages on her Instagram profile in light of the reggaeton artist's critical health condition. The Cuban model reminisced about the many moments they shared and the private messages exchanged between them.

“You've always been a child in a giant's body, and as Jany, I choose to remember only the best version of you because that's how it should be. With your efforts and sacrifices for me... With your respect for each of my creative ideas and your willingness to join them... With the friendship you allowed to blossom even after our differences... With the jokes and mischievous camaraderie... With the ear you lent me when you knew I was sharing wise or new insights with you,” Jany wrote, accompanying a photo of the reggaetonero on the beaches of Cuba.

In another story, the model displayed a snippet of a conversation where she advised him to be wary of “people with low energy, bad intentions, excessive greed, or lust.”

“If I tell you you're a crazy abaku child and everything like you say, but with talent. This is all to make you laugh hard, well, since you love gossip, José Manuel, when you wake up and see the memories we've all shared... in mine, I want laughter and spirit because I am like no one else or it's a problem,” Jany added alongside one of the many photos he used to take of her without her noticing.

Although their relationship ended more than a year ago, this did not stop Jany from dedicating a few words to him, much like other artists, even those with whom he’s had conflicts.

Since last Thursday, when news broke about the singer's severe health situation due to a gunshot wound to the head, social media has been flooded with outpourings of solidarity and support.
