Cuban artist Wampi has recently returned to the United States. Upon his arrival at the airport, he was approached by his former partner, Samantha Hernández from La Familia Cubana, for an interview. She inquired about the challenging circumstances faced by his fellow musician, El Taiger.

In the interview conducted at the airport, Wampi openly shared his sorrow and empathy for the reggaeton artist. "I genuinely don't feel good about what's happening to José. He's human, and no one deserves to experience such hardships. I feel sad," Wampi revealed, acknowledging that although he doesn't have a close relationship with José Manuel Carvajal, he holds significant respect for him as an artist.

"I don't interact much with my fellow musicians, but he's given me a couple of pieces of advice that I’ve followed," the singer admitted. "He's someone to look up to, at least from a musical standpoint. He's a talented person," he assured, expressing admiration for his colleague's work.

In recent days, numerous figures from the Cuban music scene have participated in tributes to El Taiger held in various locations. These gestures of affection, according to Wampi, will provide strength to El Taiger. "These are the kinds of things that, in his situation, will give him a lot of strength. We just need to remain united and pray to God that we can have José back," Wampi expressed with hope.
