Jorge Junior Reveals Obstacles in Traveling to U.S. to Visit El Taiger

Tuesday, October 8, 2024 by Alexander Flores

On Tuesday, Jorge Junior explained why he hasn't been able to travel to the United States to see his cousin, El Taiger. He revealed that both he and his mother are awaiting a humanitarian visa, which they have yet to receive. "I apologize to all of you for not coming here, for not being able to show my face. Today hasn't been my best day health-wise. My blood pressure reached 200, and it felt like my head was going to explode. I'm still not fully recovered, but I'm a bit better now. Thank you for your messages and care. I love you all," he shared on his Instagram stories.

From his side, Jorge Junior has done everything possible to be by his cousin's side, he claimed. "I've canceled everything and completed all necessary paperwork. As of tonight, neither my mother nor I have received any response. It's reportedly the first time a humanitarian visa is being processed directly from here, and it's out of our hands," he added.

Family Tensions and Visa Complications

In a later video on the same social platform, the singer, despite not feeling well, addressed several points, including the humanitarian visa situation for El Taiger's eldest daughter, as reported by Telemundo 51 over the weekend. Jorge Junior criticized the child's mother—who currently resides in the U.S.—accusing her of exploiting the situation for her benefit. He alleged she saw this as the perfect chance for the child to "jump" to the other side, although her interest in being with her father might be lacking.

He also publicly aired other sensitive family issues, such as the necessary "authorization" to handle legal matters at this time. He questioned whether a cousin, who takes care of El Taiger's grandmother suffering from Alzheimer's, was a suitable choice.

Support Amidst Challenges

Jorge Junior emphasized his role in El Taiger’s musical upbringing and career despite any past disagreements, clarifying that he seeks nothing in return. "This person here is one of those who doesn’t want anything. I'll be there 'just because,'" he stated about his anticipated visit to his cousin.

During a live broadcast, he was asked about the fundraising campaign to address the reggaeton artist's lack of health insurance. Jorge Junior mentioned he had heard about it and would contribute if necessary, but he preferred not to be involved in the financial details. "I don't want to know how much there is or isn't because I don't need another headache. My focus is on my cousin's recovery," he concluded.

Over the weekend, Jorge Junior had already shared another heartfelt message in a live stream where he appeared wearing a mask and visibly moved by the singer's critical health condition. Throughout the message, he was deeply affected, even shedding tears while speaking about his cousin.

Finally, Jorge Junior ended his live session tearfully saying, "I hope to be with you soon. I don't have time to think about who did what; now, all I want is for God to return my cousin to me, even if it's just to say goodbye."
