The well-known Cuban singer Jorge Junior, leader of the band Los 4, visited an impromptu memorial in Miami on Saturday, where fans have been paying tribute to the late reggaeton artist El Taiger. Jorge Junior, who traveled to the U.S. to collect the ashes of his cousin and manage all professional matters of El Taiger in the country, appeared deeply moved during his visit to the street-side altar where fans honor the Tranka de Cuba.

"I'm here. Forgive me if I don't know what to say or do. This is incredibly overwhelming. We need to figure out how to hold his wake. I'm here as his family. Now we proceed with the legal processes, and things should start moving faster. Here, paperwork talks, and we need to set everything right," Jorge Junior expressed.

Family Representation and Legal Matters

He stressed the importance of letting those who were close to El Taiger know that there is now a family representative in the U.S. "I want everyone to know I'm here, in Miami. Understand? If there's a need for opinions or decisions, I'll reopen my Instagram, and you'll all be witnesses. I'm here," he stated.

Upon arriving in Miami last night, Jorge Junior mentioned that he was the one who initially brought El Taiger to the U.S., and now he would be the one to return his ashes to Cuba. "He's going with me to Havana. I brought him here; I'm taking him back. He'll be cremated and placed beside his mother in Cuba," he explained.

A Complex Relationship and Tragic Loss

Jorge Junior and El Taiger were not only cousins but also shared a professional relationship while working together in Los 4. Despite going through challenging times, they had overcome their differences and were enjoying a strong fraternal bond.

El Taiger's death in Miami was confirmed on Thursday after he had been hospitalized for several days at the Jackson Memorial Hospital due to a gunshot wound to the head. The police investigation into this homicide case remains ongoing.
