The well-known Cuban musician Eduardo Antonio joined Jorge Junior, the leader of the group Los 4, in paying tribute to El Taiger at a makeshift memorial outside Miami's Jackson Memorial Hospital, where he passed away on Thursday. Known as the Divo de Placetas, Eduardo Antonio and El Taiger's cousin knelt before a cluster of candles, accompanied by a Cuban flag draped over a photo of José Manuel Carbajal and a plush tiger.

"Rest in peace and find tranquility with your parents in heaven. Here, we will create beautiful things in your honor. Family is a cane that bends but doesn't break," said Eduardo Antonio, who resides in Miami. Jorge Junior recently arrived in the city to arrange for the repatriation of El Taiger's remains to Cuba, so they can be laid to rest near his parents and where his daughters and family reside.

El Taiger's Legacy and Lasting Impact

El Taiger, regarded as the most significant reggaeton artist of his generation, succumbed to injuries from a gunshot wound to the head sustained on October 4th. Jorge Junior is set to manage all of El Taiger's professional affairs in the United States and has expressed gratitude for the spontaneous tributes from his cousin's fans, who fondly remember him as "la Tranka de Cuba."

"I want everyone to know that I'm here in Miami, understand? If any decisions need to be made, I'll consult my Instagram, and you'll all be witnesses. I'm present," Jorge Junior stated upon his arrival in Miami.

A Journey Back to Cuba

Jorge Junior shared that he was the one who initially brought El Taiger to the United States, and now he will accompany his ashes back to Cuba. "He's coming with me to Havana. I brought him here, and I'll take him back. He will be cremated and placed next to his mother in Cuba," he explained.

The cousins shared both family and professional ties during their time in Los 4. Despite past challenges, they overcame their differences and enjoyed a strong, fraternal bond. Earlier this week, Eduardo Antonio defended El Taiger against negative comments about his health made by influencer Alexander Otaola.
