Cuban dancer and choreographer Michel Valdés, known as Micho, hosted a heartfelt tribute to El Taiger at his dance academy, focusing on "what he loved most," as Micho shared. "Yesterday, our entire class was dedicated to @el_taiger #latrankademipais. We cried, but we also danced and celebrated, doing what he wanted most for those who knew him—to enjoy his music," he expressed.

"A legend never dies, and we take pride in having over 18 of his songs in our choreography repertoire. He will forever live on here among our people, from the young to the old. I will ensure his legacy endures," stated the director of the Baila con Micho academy.

Micho had hoped for El Taiger's recovery, saying, "I believed he would rise from that bed. But I also vowed that as long as my academy exists, El Taiger's music will be remembered." The class began with the song Papelito, which moved the students to tears. Addressing the camera and speaking directly to the late reggaeton artist, the dancer said, "This class is for you. Wherever you are, this piece of the class belongs to you."

"You are already considered a legend here on earth," Micho concluded. Just six days earlier, Micho had dedicated another class to El Taiger, praying for his recovery after the artist suffered a gunshot wound to the head. This Thursday, Jackson Memorial Hospital confirmed the passing of the reggaeton artist, one of the most influential figures in Cuba's urban music scene.
