Jenry Hernández, a promising 15-year-old soccer talent with Cuban roots, has been making waves since joining Real Madrid's "Cadete A" team this summer. This team is part of the club's renowned youth academy, known as La Fábrica. Originally from Pinar del Río, Hernández moved to Spain when he was just a year old, as reported by Diario de Cuba.

The same source also disclosed that his contract with the club extends for three years. Before joining Real Madrid, Hernández played for Unión Esportivo Cornellà in Catalonia. He was scouted by the "merengue" team in February, with plans to join the current squad at the start of the new season. The young athlete stands out with an impressive height of 1.80 meters.

Real Madrid's Pathway to Professional Soccer

The Cadete A team consists of players aged 15 and 16, typically falling under the under-16 category. This team plays a pivotal role in nurturing young talents, who, if they demonstrate significant progress, have the opportunity to move up to higher levels such as the Juvenil team, the Real Madrid Castilla (the club's reserve team), or potentially the first team.

Competing in both local and national leagues, the Cadete A squad focuses on enhancing the players' technical, tactical, and physical abilities while instilling the club's playing style and values. This phase is seen as a crucial step in a young player's journey toward a professional soccer career.

Impressive Debut for Jenry Hernández

Jenry Hernández kicked off the 2024-2025 season of the Superliga Cadete de Madrid with a bang, scoring a goal in a commanding 5-0 victory against México FC on September 29. His performance underscores his potential as a future star within Real Madrid's ranks.
