Wednesday, October 16, 2024 by Felix Ortiz

A Cuban TikToker living in Atlanta, Georgia, revealed on Monday how much she earned from her most successful video, which quickly surpassed one million views and brought in approximately $600 in revenue. Yanet, the TikToker in question, shared with her followers on TikTok (@yanetatlanta) that this particular post, offering tips on applying to 13 companies for merchandising jobs, generated more income than any of her previous videos.

"It reached a million views in just two days, and it's the most lucrative video I've had so far," she remarked. Yanet noted that while previous videos had earned her up to $400, this one allowed her to make $619 in just 48 hours.

One key factor she highlighted was that the majority of the views, over 90%, came from the United States, significantly boosting her earnings. She explained that when her videos reach audiences in other countries, the earnings tend to be lower, even with the same number of views.

Capitalizing on TikTok Opportunities

In her viral video shared recently, Yanet showcased to her followers various companies where one can apply for merchandising work, a field focused on the presentation and sale of products. Her list included well-known brands such as Corona and Frito Lay, with the latter being noted as one of the best-paying companies.

She also highlighted Mondelēz, Nabisco, Coca Cola, and Pepsi Cola, along with Red Baron pizzas, Goya, Sara Lee, Bimbo, and Iberia Foods. Additionally, she addressed those living in Atlanta, mentioning two more companies: Atlanta Beverage and United.

Guidance for Fellow Cubans

This isn't the first time this Cuban influencer has shared valuable insights for her fellow Cubans interested in pursuing the challenging career of a merchandiser. Yanet has previously posted videos offering practical advice to Cubans residing in Atlanta and other U.S. cities.

Recently, she recounted her experience during the interview process for obtaining U.S. citizenship, highlighting what she found to be the most challenging aspect of that situation.
