Liam Payne, the former singer of the renowned band One Direction, tragically passed away on Wednesday after falling from the balcony of the hotel where he was staying in the Palermo neighborhood of Buenos Aires, Argentina. Initial reports indicate that hotel staff and nearby residents alerted authorities immediately, with police confirming his death at the scene, as reported by Infocielo.
Alberto Crescenti, head of the Emergency Medical Attention System (SAME), told the news outlet, "A SAME team confirmed the death of this man. We later learned he was a famous singer. Unfortunately, he sustained injuries incompatible with life due to the fall. There was no chance of resuscitation."
Crescenti elaborated that a free fall without any cushioning is invariably fatal, and despite paramedics arriving within seven minutes, they were unable to save him. According to Infocielo, several fans of the British band One Direction had gathered at the hotel earlier that day to take photos and videos with their idol, Liam Payne.
