Former One Direction star Liam Payne tragically passed away this Wednesday after a fall from the third floor of his hotel in Buenos Aires. His final hours were reportedly filled with chaos and disorder.
One of the first images to emerge from the scene was that of a shattered television screen, indicating a violent incident had taken place in the Deluxe Suite of the exclusive Casa Sur hotel in Palermo, where Payne was staying. The suite's desk displayed a variety of concerning items, including a bottle of Dove soap, matches, candle wax remnants, aluminum foil, a suspicious white powder believed to be cocaine, a lighter, and a burned soda can top.
Further examination of the suite's bathroom revealed additional candle wax and aluminum foil, with the bathtub showing stains and burn marks. Payne was discovered lifeless by police officers and emergency medical personnel from the SAME (Sistema de Atención Médica de Emergencias), lying in the hotel's internal courtyard after his fall from the third floor.
A 911 call had previously reported a "man acting aggressively, possibly under the influence of drugs or alcohol." The caller pleaded, "We have a guest overwhelmed by drugs and alcohol… He's destroying the room, and we need assistance urgently, please."
