Saturday, October 19, 2024 by Olivia Torres

This past Saturday, a group of Cuban artists and influencers gathered at the Church of San Lázaro in Hialeah, Miami. They came to honor El Taiger during the religious service held as part of the funeral proceedings for the reggaeton artist, who passed away on October 10.

El Micha, a prominent figure in the urban music scene, was front and center during the funeral service. He offered his condolences to Jorge Junior, El Taiger's cousin, embracing him as a gesture of support. "El Taiger was always very proud of his Cuban heritage; he was truly Cuban," El Micha shared with Martí Noticias, clearly moved by the loss.

Fixty Ordara, another notable urban music performer, attended the service, bringing a bouquet of roses and daisies as a tribute. The event also saw the presence of several influencers, including Un Martí To Durako, who documented the ceremony through shared images.

Among those paying their respects were influencers Miguelín David and El Moreno, who wore T-shirts emblazoned with El Taiger's image. Additional footage shared by La Familia Cubana on Facebook captured Yoyi and Preña Palma as they arrived to bid farewell to the late Cuban reggaeton star.

Dozens of El Taiger's fans filled the Church of San Lázaro, many visibly emotional, wearing shirts adorned with the initials LBMA in memory of the beloved artist.
