Jorge Junior, a prominent Cuban reggaeton artist, recently addressed the absence of Chocolate MC at the funeral of El Taiger during a live broadcast. This situation had sparked various reactions across social media and within the Cuban urban music community. In his address, Jorge Junior made his stance clear regarding the controversy and defended Chocolate's decision.

"I think you made the right call, but let me tell you something, Chocolate. That day was sacred to me, to Cuban reggaeton, to Cuban music. It was a day where there couldn't be any trouble at all," remarked the leader of Los 4. Despite past differences, he stressed that the funeral was a time for respect, and had Chocolate attended, there would have been no disruption or conflict.

Jorge Junior emphasized that if Chocolate had been present, nothing would have occurred to disrupt the occasion, as the primary focus was the funeral of his cousin, José Manuel Carbajal Zaldívar, known as El Taiger. "If you had shown up, there wouldn't have been any issues because the most important thing at that moment was my cousin's funeral, and I wasn't going to allow anything or anyone to disrupt that moment, that final farewell," he stated.

The artist further assured that Chocolate's presence wouldn't have sparked any conflict, highlighting the need for calmness and respect during such a significant event. "There was no reason for any arguments or a spectacle," he clarified. He added, "I believe you did nothing wrong. If you had walked through that door, there would have been peace and composure. Issues can be addressed another day; the day of José Manuel Carbajal deserved respect."

Through these statements, Jorge Junior showed understanding toward Chocolate MC's decision while emphasizing the importance of honoring the deceased with utmost respect, urging others to set aside any disputes during such times.
