In response to the widespread power outage that left many unable to watch their favorite shows, Cubavisión has announced the re-broadcast of both Cuban and international soap operas that were originally scheduled for last week. The popular channel made this announcement through a "Breaking News" statement, emphasizing the importance of this decision for their audience.

"Starting Monday, October 21, Cubavisión will begin re-airing the episodes of Cuban and international soap operas from the previous week. This move aims to accommodate viewers affected by the ongoing energy crisis," the official statement from the channel declared. This announcement has sparked laughter and a slew of critical remarks on social media, highlighting the poor communication in national media about the country's energy situation.

Public Reactions and Social Media Outcry

Numerous comments have pointed out the absurdity of the situation, with one Facebook user remarking, "Child... What more drama than the one we're living? They dare!" Another person questioned, "The eastern part of the country is still in the dark. What will they do next week? Re-air it again?" A different commentator sarcastically noted, "Great! They're going to re-broadcast it for a year until the entire population can watch it."

Many regions across Cuba remain without electricity. In light of these challenges, Cubavisión faces the task of adapting its programming schedule to keep viewers engaged with their beloved soap operas amid the nation's ongoing crisis.
