Authorities in Lighthouse Point, located in Broward County, Florida, have issued an urgent alert following the disappearance of 15-year-old Hispanic teenager, Leilani González. She was last seen on the first Sunday of November in the 3000 block area of Northeast 48th Street in Lighthouse Point. At the time, she was wearing a blouse, shorts, and black stockings paired with black boots.

Leilani stands five feet tall, weighs 110 pounds, and has curly hair that is black and purple, along with brown eyes. This description is part of the missing person alert released by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) on its social media platform, X (previously known as Twitter). The alert urges the public to assist in locating Leilani González and to contact authorities if they have any information. The public can reach out via the phone numbers 954-942-8080 or 911.

Community's Role in the Search

A Voice For The Voiceless, a nonprofit organization committed to raising awareness about missing persons and unsolved cases, has also highlighted the disappearance of the young Hispanic girl on November 2. For both family members and law enforcement, it is vital to disseminate Leilani's photo and description widely, as the initial hours are crucial, especially in non-voluntary disappearance cases.

The community's cooperation is essential, as these early moments can significantly impact the outcome of the search efforts. Every piece of information, no matter how small, could be vital in ensuring Leilani's safe return.
