Cuban singer Jorge Junior swiftly addressed the ongoing controversy involving reggaeton artists Oniel Bebeshito and L Kimii, known as Kimiko, who are caught in a dispute over their concert dates in Miami, set for December 28. Jorge Junior, who leads the group Los 4, voiced his support for Kimiko, sparking widespread discussion among followers of Cuban urban music.

In a Facebook post, Jorge Junior shared Kimiko's response to Bebeshito's decision to schedule his U.S. debut on the same day that the Kimiko and Yordi duo is slated to perform in the city. Alongside the post, the artist commented, "This kid is one of the good ones. My respects, well-answered." With these words, Jorge Junior made it clear that he approved of how Kimiko handled the matter.

Controversy Over Concert Dates

The conflict between these two genre representatives began when L Kimii expressed his dissatisfaction on social media, hinting that the date overlap was a "pre-planned coincidence" and suggesting that Bebeshito's team had not communicated their plans in advance. Although Kimiko extended wishes for success to Bebeshito's debut, his tone shifted after sharing a video where Bebeshito implied that one of the duo's previous concerts was a failure in terms of attendance. Kimiko countered this claim by posting images from the event.

In response, Bebeshito promoted the Kimiko and Yordi Miami concert, coinciding with his own. "What's meant for one won't be taken away," he wrote in his Instagram stories. The involvement of figures like Jorge Junior has only intensified the spotlight on the tension between Bebeshito and Kimiko, leaving fans eagerly watching for the artists' next moves.

Past Clashes and Artistic Integrity

Notably, Jorge Junior recently criticized the "Papita Frita" collaboration by Lenier Mesa, Tekashi 6ix9ine, and Oniel Bebeshito, which paid tribute to El Taiger, Jorge's cousin, by displaying his image on a screen. The Los 4 leader deemed the music video disrespectful. Bebeshito defended himself by claiming his success doesn't rely on controversies, highlighting that he has been the most listened-to artist in his country for over a year without stirring up drama.
