On November 5th, Seidy La Niña proudly exercised her right to vote in the United States presidential elections, sharing her experience with her followers on social media. The Cuban singer took the opportunity to encourage her fans to make their voices heard by voting for the candidate they believe should lead the country.
"In many of our countries, we lack the right to vote. There are only a few hours left to decide who will be the next president. If you can vote, do it. Oh, and by the way, make America great again," she wrote in the caption of her post.
Wearing a t-shirt with a picture of Republican candidate Donald Trump, Seidy struck a pose for the cameras and shared photos on Instagram of the moment she cast her ballot.
Handling Criticism with Grace
After facing criticism from one of her followers for supporting Trump, Seidy responded by stating that she has learned to respect differing opinions, even if they do not align with her own.
"My post was meant to encourage people to vote, so if they haven't done so yet, they should do it today, which is the last day," clarified the artist. She emphasized that while she respects others' choices, she expects the same courtesy in return for her own decisions.
