An incident involving two Cuban women in Rome has gained widespread attention on social media after they experienced an attempted theft while strolling through the city streets. The women shared a video on the TikTok account @yanetladificil, recounting the moment when two other women tried to steal their belongings. However, their quick thinking and boldness thwarted the robbery.

In the video, one of the Cuban women, clearly upset, describes the event with her signature ironic and defiant tone. "I'm ready to confront those people to show you all where Pupi is going to strike," she declares.

She continues, "I'm eager for a face-off with those folks," emphasizing her resolve not to be intimidated. "It's going to be an international showdown," she adds, mixing anger with humor, hinting at her willingness to defend herself if the situation escalated.

Amid laughter, she also expresses her frustration at the thought of losing her identification documents abroad: "With all the hassle I have, just to have these people try to steal my ID, because I have nothing else."

While tourists being targeted by thieves is not uncommon in European cities, the reaction of these Cuban women serves as a reminder of the resilience and humor with which they often tackle adversity.
