The tragic murder of El Taiger at the hands of Damián Valdez-Galloso has sparked outrage and heartbreak among his devoted supporters. The Miami Police Department recently revealed details of the crime, including Valdez's extradition from New York where he was apprehended, causing a storm on social media.
Within posts by influencer Un Martí To Durako, many fans believe the shooting was premeditated. Comments reflect their anger and sorrow: “This was clearly planned, and it's possible someone paid him to do it”; “It was all premeditated, they must have been planning it for days, and Damián had it in mind. Justice for El Taiger”; “I refuse to speak his name because he doesn’t deserve to be mentioned. He left children fatherless and a grandmother who, despite her memory loss, might want to see her grandson again. That man deserves the harshest punishment ever imagined, and should be treated harshly, as he is a man without principles, never a true friend, just someone waiting to take a life.”
Community Outrage and Calls for Justice
Many expressed their disbelief and condemnation: “How can such people exist in this world? Even a life sentence wouldn't be enough for what he did”; “He put up a fight; he battled for his life until the very end. May God rest his soul, and may Damián face the full weight of justice”; “It's inhumane to keep him in the car trunk for so long. Maybe if he had received help earlier, his death could have been avoided. This is why I trust no one, only your mother and a dollar in your pocket.”
According to the police report, José Manuel Carbajal Zaldívar arrived at Damián Valdez-Galloso's home around 5:24 a.m. on October 3rd. Shortly after Carbajal opened the door, he shot El Taiger in the head, dragged him by the ankles to a car, cleaned the crime scene, and changed his clothes. The police discovered El Taiger near Jackson Memorial Hospital at 6:45 a.m., still clinging to life but critically injured, just over an hour after the shooting.
Damián Valdez-Galloso made his initial court appearance this Thursday in Miami-Dade's criminal court before Judge Mindy S. Glazer, who denied him bail on the charge of second-degree murder.
