Teresa Speaks Out on Damián Valdez's Court Absence: "He's Avoiding Accountability"

Friday, November 8, 2024 by Matthew Diaz

Teresa Padrón, the manager for Cuban reggaeton artist El Taiger, has expressed her thoughts on Damián Valdez-Galloso's decision to skip his second scheduled appearance in Miami-Dade court this past Friday. "I can understand why he doesn't want to show up. He knows everyone is watching him, everyone despises him, and people are demanding answers. Given how he appeared yesterday, it's no surprise he chose not to attend today," Teresa remarked to several media outlets.

During the initial court hearing, Teresa observed that Damián Valdez-Galloso showed no signs of remorse or regret. The next court date for Damián, involved in the homicide case of El Taiger, is set for November 22. He faces charges of second-degree murder, tampering with evidence, and firearm possession. However, Teresa and others hold the belief that he should be charged with first-degree murder, which they feel is more appropriate for the crime.

The Incident According to Police Reports

The Miami Police report details a grim scene where Damián Valdez-Galloso allegedly shot El Taiger in the head at his residence. Subsequently, he reportedly dragged the body through a back door, placed it in a car, and meticulously cleaned the crime scene. He then drove the vehicle to the vicinity of Jackson Memorial Hospital, where he abandoned the reggaeton artist.
