The acclaimed Cuban actress, Diana Rosa Suárez, is currently in intensive care at the Cardiovascular Hospital in Havana after experiencing an ischemic episode. This development was shared by sports journalist Julita Osendi, who mentioned that efforts are underway to transfer Suárez to another medical facility better equipped to handle her condition.

Previously, the actress was recuperating in Havana from a heart attack she suffered while in Guyana, which had led to her hospitalization at a public hospital in Georgetown. Osendi suggested that Cuba's ongoing energy crisis and frequent power outages may have contributed to this latest health scare for the actress, famously known as "The Zorro's Bride."

Diana Rosa had traveled to Guyana for a visa appointment at the United States Embassy. While there, doctors determined that in addition to the heart attack, Suárez had experienced a similar cardiac issue three months prior, prompting a recommendation for a month of complete rest.

The Cuban Embassy in Guyana confirmed her hospitalization in Georgetown, with the Cuban ambassador visiting and promising to monitor her health status closely from the embassy. By late October, it was reported that she had been discharged from the South American hospital, but details about her return to Havana remained undisclosed.

Best known for her iconic roles, including the beloved "Zorro's Bride," Diana Rosa Suárez was in Guyana to secure a visa to reunite with her grandchildren and nieces abroad.
