After undergoing cosmetic surgery in Miami, which included chin and arm liposuction, Flor de Cuba has faced a wave of criticism. However, the Cuban influencer is not one to remain silent. In her Instagram stories, she responded assertively to these critiques.

"It's interesting how Cubans idolize and admire female artists and influencers from other countries. They call them their crushes, praise their beauty, and acknowledge all the surgeries they've had. But when a Cuban artist or influencer does it, they bully, humiliate, and criticize. There's no harsher blow than the one from your own kind, and I'm starting to truly believe that no one is a prophet in their own land. We've been taught to worship foreigners and prioritize them in EVERYTHING, and it's becoming evident," Flor wrote in one of her posts.

She accompanied this message with two photos of Georgina Rodríguez, the wife of Cristiano Ronaldo, highlighting that she too had undergone chin surgery.

Discontent with Her Community

Not stopping there, Flor de Cuba added, "Every day I'm growing more disgusted with my community. How they wish ill upon others, how they despise those who manage to succeed, how they want misery to be shared equally, and loathe those who escape scarcity. They have communism in their veins, everyone poor, everyone unhappy or nothing at all. How can they wish for the downfall of someone they don't even know? How they torment themselves with the privileges of others simply because they can't have them. The worst damage done to us hasn't been economic, but mental."

According to the influencer, this is a story of "a frustrated, traumatized, and distorted generation. The worst part is that there are those who know this and take advantage, pulling the strings by exploiting these traumas and prospering by fostering more hatred and playing on their traumas."

Flor de Cuba decided to undergo this cosmetic procedure shortly after arriving in Miami for her second visit, sharing all the details of the surgery with her followers.
