A member of Cuba's LGBTIQ community has tragically lost his life in Havana under mysterious circumstances. The victim, known on social media as Disneys Borrero, was reportedly killed between November 10th and 11th by his partner, according to a source close to the case who spoke with CubaNet.
The incident took place in the La Rosita district of San Miguel del Padrón. This heartbreaking news was shared on Facebook by Almakki Díaz, who identified the young man in the gay community as Disney. "Local sources suggest it was a crime of passion, and the person involved is currently on the run," Diaz reported. Adding to the urgency of the situation, he stated, "Cuba is a pressure cooker."
Borrero was a talented stylist, particularly known for his expertise in eyebrow design within his neighborhood. "It's such a shame, he was a really good person. Polite and well-mannered. And as a stylist, he was the best. The youth in this country is being lost due to the lack of laws. They only go after those of us who aren't with the Cuban Communist Party," lamented a local resident.
As of now, the identity of the perpetrator and the motive behind the crime remain unknown, leaving the community in a state of shock and sadness.
