On November 14, 2024, CiberCuba proudly celebrates its tenth anniversary. Over the past decade, we have dedicated ourselves to being the digital voice for Cubans, confronting challenges and overcoming barriers with the unwavering goal of keeping our audience informed in an objective and truthful manner. Our dedication to transparency and independent journalism has only grown stronger over time, thanks to the steadfast support from our community.

Since our inception in 2014, we have evolved alongside a passionate team that relentlessly pursues the truth. We provide news, opinions, and in-depth reports that reflect the Cuban reality, tirelessly seeking out the information that matters to everyday Cubans. We delve into issues that the official press chooses to ignore or misrepresent. Despite frequent attacks, our commitment to truth and freedom of information remains as strong as it was on our first day, reporting without censorship.

Embracing Martí's Vision

As José Martí once said: "Let there be no manifestation of life whose daily events do not surprise the journalist: that is to make a good newspaper. Say what is convenient for everyone, and do not omit anything that might be useful to someone. Let everyone find in the newspaper what they may need and know..." This quote encapsulates our mission at CiberCuba: to talk about everything, from the common life of the people and their problems, to the most significant news.

Growing Against the Odds

Throughout these ten years, we have continuously grown and evolved. From our early days, we've captured the attention of millions of readers, establishing ourselves as a trustworthy and relevant source for Cubans. We've broken through barriers, set audience records, and stood firm against censorship. Our mission to remain an independent media outlet has driven us to be transparent with our community, sharing both our achievements and struggles, always focused on providing an honest and objective portrayal of the Cuban reality.

Thanks to our readers, collaborators, and everyone who has trusted CiberCuba as their source of information. We remain committed to delivering impartial and independent coverage of events in Cuba and around the world. We eagerly anticipate what the next decade will bring. Perhaps the future will allow us to report from a free Cuba, where every story can be told without barriers or censorship.

CiberCuba, the digital voice of the Cubans.
