According to sources from Cubanet, Bertha Mariela Sablón Roque, the mother of a friend of the victim, described the murder as "brutal." She identified the alleged perpetrator as Borrero's partner, who fled the scene following the incident and remains at large. The report confirmed that "Disney," as he was affectionately known in the gay community, lived and worked in a modest room where he served his clients.
