A man in Cuba is reaching out to the public for assistance in locating an elderly woman who has been missing for several months in Havana. On Friday, Facebook user Yunier Rodríguez Santoyo posted photos of the woman, identifying her as his brother's mother, who has been unaccounted for over three months. "If anyone sees her, please contact 56718859," he urged.

Unfortunately, Rodríguez Santoyo did not provide additional details, such as the woman's name, nor did he specify whether the authorities have been notified. The post appeared in the Facebook group "Reparto Bahía / Antonio Guiteras / Habana del Este," where community members recalled seeing the elderly woman walking with small dogs around the Regla municipality and Bahía neighborhood.

Community Recollections

Several group members shared their last sightings of the woman. "She was often spotted in front of El túnel store with her dog," one woman mentioned. Another added, "The last time I saw her was near the twelve-story building at 90."

The situation highlights the ongoing challenges faced by families in Cuba when dealing with missing person cases, often exacerbated by limited resources and bureaucratic hurdles. The community's response underscores the importance of local networks in efforts to reunite families with their loved ones.
