Teresa Padrón, the manager of Cuban reggaeton artist El Taiger, recently made a trip back to Cuba where she reconnected with his beloved grandmother. This family member holds a special place in the heart of the renowned musician.
"She is one of the strongest people I have ever met, with a beautiful soul and a huge heart, just like José's. I am entirely grateful for the blessing of knowing you and the immense affection you have for me and your family. I'll always be here for you and your loved ones," Teresa expressed in an Instagram post. She shared a photo with the elderly lady along with a heartfelt video.
Preserving Legacy: Plans for El Taiger's Final Resting Place
During her stay on the island, Teresa took the opportunity to showcase the chapel at the Colón Cemetery in Havana. This is where the remains of El Taiger will be laid to rest alongside his mother's. In a live Instagram session, she provided a tour of the chapel, explaining that it requires cleaning, painting, and organizing before the transfer of the artist's ashes. She also mentioned that an artist is eager to create some tribute pieces in honor of El Taiger.
Family Connections and Future Plans
The manager entered the chapel, allowing fans to see that it is a spacious area with better conditions and enhanced security. Furthermore, while in Havana, Teresa met with Ana Paloma, one of El Taiger's daughters, for whom she has a special affection. Teresa is also assisting her with humanitarian parole to reunite with family in the United States.
