On Saturday, Denmark emerged victorious at the Miss Universe 2024 pageant, marking the 73rd edition of this global event that saw participation from over 120 contestants worldwide. Victoria Kjaer Theilvig, who recently turned 21, hails from Søborg, Gribskov, though she has spent much of her life in Copenhagen, where she currently resides.
From the very outset, Victoria was a standout favorite among the judges, admired for her striking blue eyes, charismatic presence, and undeniable elegance. Her standout moment in the competition came when she donned a gown inspired by a Viking goddess, paying tribute to her homeland's rich culture. With a degree in Business and Marketing, she has also pursued careers in both the jewelry industry and as a professional dancer. Additionally, Victoria is a passionate animal advocate. In 2021, she secured a spot in the Top 20 of Miss Grand International.

Cuba's Return to the Pageant
Meanwhile, Marianela Ancheta from Cuba made it to the top 30 of the competition. This young contestant from Villa Clara represented her country after a 57-year hiatus from the world's most prestigious beauty pageant.
