As the second court appearance of Damián Valdez-Galloso for the murder of El Taiger approaches, a date change has been announced. Teresa Padrón, the artist's manager, confirmed on Tuesday that the hearing originally set for November 22 will now occur a day earlier at 9:00 a.m.
"I imagine the change was made because they learned a large crowd would attend on Friday. The court often does this to prevent gatherings and related issues. Nonetheless, it remains public information, so they can't hide it," Teresa explained.
She further stated, "The court session is rescheduled for Thursday, November 21, at nine in the morning, with the same court and judge. The number of people allowed inside is limited, but supporters can be outside with their signs. We just ask that they refrain from bringing music to avoid any trouble."
"We intend for this to be a peaceful demonstration. We are seeking justice and want to do things correctly," she emphasized.
Additionally, Teresa mentioned that they will submit a petition with over 49,000 signatures to the prosecution, demanding that Damián Valdez-Galloso be charged with first-degree murder instead of second-degree as it stands currently. Recently, Miami Police confirmed they possess all the evidence needed to secure a guilty verdict against Damián.
Despite this, Teresa Padrón continues to assert that there is a second individual involved in the murder of the Cuban reggaeton artist, who allegedly assisted Valdez-Galloso.
