Glenda Neninger Alom, a Cuban resident of Unión de Reyes in Matanzas, has taken to social media to seek assistance in locating her brother, Brian Jesús Hernández Alom, in Russia. According to her, he arrived in the country on November 14 but suffered an accident, leading to a worrying lack of communication.
The family believes that Brian Jesús experienced a tragic fall from a building. "So far, we know that he is hospitalized somewhere in Kotelniki, but no one has been able to provide us with information on his whereabouts or the specific hospital," Glenda explained.
Since the evening of November 17, the family has been left in the dark. "Here in Cuba, we are desperate. It has been three days without any news or insights. Anyone with information, please come forward," Glenda pleaded in a post dated November 20 in the Facebook group Cubans in Moscow.
Brian Jesús's sister did not elaborate on the circumstances surrounding his fall or provide further details. Kotelniki, where he is believed to be hospitalized, is approximately 22 kilometers southeast of central Moscow.
Community Urges Contact with Cuban Embassy
In the comments section, several users encouraged her to reach out to the Cuban Embassy, noting that they are typically informed of incidents involving Cubans in Russia. "They should be notified of any events concerning Cuban nationals," one user advised.
Another user shared the embassy's email address, suggesting, "Write to the embassy so they can contact the hospitals." Additionally, a user mentioned a church in Moscow called "Burning Bush," which recently found a young man in a hospital, urging Glenda to update the group when she has more information about her brother.
As of the latest update, no further details about the case have emerged.
