Alicia María López Hernández, a Cuban teacher, is demanding justice for the murder of her 22-year-old former student, Jesús David Corcho Pérez, who was tragically killed in Jovellanos, Matanzas. The murder allegedly occurred during a robbery attempt to steal his motorbike.
In a heartfelt post shared on social media, López Hernández reminisced about Corcho Pérez as an unforgettable student. "Jesús David was one of those students who leave a lasting impression on your life. He was a joyful, independent young man with a big heart, who loved nature, animals, and life itself. I will always remember his smile and affection," she wrote.
The teacher also made a public plea for justice: "I demand justice for this heinous crime. It cannot go unpunished. The perpetrators must be held accountable for their actions."
The devastating confirmation of Corcho Pérez's death came last Thursday from family and friends through social media. He had been missing since Sunday after leaving his home at 4:00 PM on his motorbike. There is speculation that the motive behind his murder was the theft of his motorcycle, but this theory has yet to be officially confirmed by authorities.
