The family of Rafael Osorio García, an elderly Cuban man from the Development Zone in the Güines municipality of Mayabeque, is seeking assistance to find him after he disappeared from his home several days ago. Despite filing a report with the Revolutionary National Police (PNR), there has been no update on his whereabouts.
Tamara Montoya, Osorio García's niece, has turned to social media platforms in an effort to broaden the search and appeal for public assistance. "My uncle, Rafael Osorio García, has been missing from home for several days. He resides in the Development Zone. Please, if anyone has any information, call 5622529," Montoya posted online.
Montoya shared the contact number 56225291, urging anyone with information that could lead to the discovery of Rafael Osorio to reach out. Details such as the date of his disappearance, the clothing he was last seen in, and his health condition remain unknown.
The number of disappearance cases has surged in Cuba, amid rising violence, increasing crime rates, a migration crisis that has left many elderly people isolated, and a lack of medication for those with mental health conditions.
