In the bustling world of social media and YouTube, Destino Positivo and Alexander Otaola have emerged as notable adversaries. Their rivalry is marked by a constant exchange of jabs and veiled insults across their respective platforms. Recently, the Dominican influencer took a direct shot at the Cuban personality during an episode of his podcast, Destino Tolk. "I can't understand what's going through Otaola's mind, but to me, that guy is out of his mind, believing things about himself that just aren't true," Destino remarked.
He continued, "Otaola knows the ins and outs of the Cuban system because he's Cuban himself. He tries to instill fear in other Cubans when they arrive here so they'll respect him and tread cautiously. But what's even worse is that some Cubans allow themselves to be manipulated by Otaola’s fear tactics. They let the Cuban regime intimidate them, and then they come to Miami and let a nobody do the same," Destino criticized.
Controversial Claims and Accusations
The influencer's comments are in response to Otaola's recent claims that the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) contacted him regarding alleged issues with the tourist visa of fellow influencer Flor de Cuba. "Who do you think you are? Are you Donald Trump or Biden, who's going to call you for information? Just be honest and say, 'I called Immigration,' hiding your identity because you didn't even reveal your name, you coward," Destino lashed out.
Past Jabs and Heated Exchanges
Previously, Otaola had also aimed a few barbs at Destino on his show. "Let's hope you don't run into any immigration issues because now that Trump is coming back, and since you've been so pro-Democrat, you and Fernan, you might end up hosting your next show in Haiti next to a barbecue. Just keep that in mind, Destino, because if you get deported, we won't shed a tear," Otaola warned.
Destino responded by stating that he isn't intimidated by Otaola's threats. He emphasized that he's not involved in any illegal activities in the U.S. and is there to work. "I'm not afraid of his threats," he concluded.
