A false bomb threat prompted a precautionary lockdown and a significant police presence at Hialeah Senior High School around noon on Monday.
Images and videos from various news outlets displayed a large contingent of law enforcement at the educational facility located at 251 E. 47th St. in Hialeah, beginning around 11:45 a.m.
According to the police, officers were alerted to a bomb threat and the possible presence of a weapon on the school premises. Taking the information seriously, police units, including four K-9 teams, quickly descended upon and entered the campus.
