A Cuban woman who moved to the United States five years ago has finally realized her greatest dream: traveling to Paris. Hailing from Noroña, a neighborhood in Guanajay, Artemisa, this Cuban expressed her joy at fulfilling her dream of dining by the Seine while admiring the iconic Eiffel Tower.

The woman, known on social media as @yenejoyeria_oficial, touched her followers by sharing her experience from the heart of France. "A country girl from Noroña, Guanajay, Artemisa, Havana, Cuba, dining by the Seine. This has been the dream of my life. I feel overwhelmed with emotion and on the verge of tears," she shared in a video that has garnered hundreds of supportive and admiring comments.

During this emotional journey, she recounted a particularly touching moment: when she called her mother to share her experience, her mother had no idea how far away Paris was or the significance of her daughter's achievement. "Mom says, 'Oh, how lovely!' but she doesn't realize how far Paris is. Yet, I promised myself that very soon, Mom will also gaze upon the Eiffel Tower," she declared with determination.

She concluded her heartfelt message by expressing her pride in herself. "Paris was my lifelong dream, and here I am," she affirmed.

The video has resonated with thousands of Cubans both on the island and abroad, who see her as an example of perseverance and the desire for self-improvement. Comments such as "Dreams do come true. May your mom also live this dream," "I'm so happy for all the beautiful things you're experiencing; your video moved me to tears as I too long to have my mom with me," "One of the most genuine and down-to-earth women on TikTok, enjoy it, you deserve it. Greetings and blessings," and "You deserve it, that's why we work so hard in this country," reflect the widespread admiration and inspiration she has sparked.
